Description
Ornament Rainbow With Pot Of Gold Large 16wx5.5dx8.5cmh — Larger rainbow and pot-of-gold feature for mid-size freshwater tanks
A single small novelty ornament can be lost against a busier aquascape once there is enough rock, wood and planting to compete with it. Ornament Rainbow With Pot Of Gold Large 16wx5.5dx8.5cmh (SKU: 37500L) is the large size of Aqua One’s Rainbow With Pot Of Gold ornament, measuring 16 x 5.5 x 8.5 cm, noticeably bigger than the 12 cm medium version and better suited to a mid-size display. Like the medium size it pairs an arched rainbow with a pot-of-gold figure and is made from non-toxic, aquarium-safe material.
Aqua One lists it as suitable for coldwater and freshwater tropical fish tanks. At 8.5 cm tall and 16 cm wide it works as a standalone centrepiece rather than a background accent, and the extra depth over the medium size, 5.5 cm against 4 cm, gives it more presence away from the glass. The two sizes share the same design, so a tank can run the large version alone or combine it with the medium for a two-tier feature. It needs the same light care as the rest of the range: a rinse before use and routine wiping during water changes.
Usage & Application
When to Use
- Mid-size freshwater tanks: Sized as a standalone centrepiece rather than a background piece.
- Combined displays: Paired with the medium size for a two-tier feature.
- Themed aquascapes: A playful rainbow feature among other ornaments.
- Coldwater and tropical community tanks: One design for either temperature range.
Placement & Care Guide
- Rinse before adding: Clear dust before placing it in the tank.
- Give it space: Position it as a centrepiece rather than tucked behind other decor.
- Leave swimming room: Keep it clear of the filter outlet and heater.
- Clean during water changes: Wipe by hand rather than with chemical cleaners.
