Ornament Treasure Chest & Plant 9x8x14cm

Description

Ornament Treasure Chest & Plant 9x8x14cm — Treasure chest feature with integrated plant detail

A classic sunken-treasure look usually calls for a chest and a plant placed side by side rather than as one combined piece. Ornament Treasure Chest & Plant 9x8x14cm (SKU: 36356) is Aqua One’s Treasure Chest & Plant ornament, a 9 x 8 x 14 cm piece combining a treasure chest with built-in plant detailing in one casting, made from non-toxic material. The combined design means the chest and its surrounding foliage are placed and cleaned as a single piece rather than two separate ornaments.

The chest sits low on the substrate while the moulded plant element rises above it, giving the display some height without needing a second ornament or a live plant alongside it. Aqua One describes it as safe for aquatic life, and like the rest of its small ornament range it is designed for easy drop-in placement with no gluing or sealing required. At 14 cm tall it suits a standard community tank as a secondary feature rather than a tank’s single centrepiece. Because the plant element is cast as part of the same piece, there is no separate stem or base to anchor, which also means nothing can snap off and drift loose the way a two-part ornament sometimes does. The combined shape is intended to read as a single scene rather than a chest with an afterthought plant stuck beside it.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Classic aquascapes: A treasure-chest feature for a sunken-ship or pirate theme.
• Combined plant and ornament: One piece doing the job of two separate decorations.
• Standard community tanks: A 14 cm feature suited to secondary placement.
• Fish cover: The chest and plant base give small fish somewhere to shelter.

Placement & Care Guide

• Rinse before adding: Clear any dust from the surface before placing it in the tank.
• Set on the substrate: Stand it on gravel or sand clear of the filter outlet.
• Pair with real decor: Use it alongside driftwood or live plants for a fuller scene.
• Clean during water changes: Wipe by hand rather than with chemical cleaners.
