Ornament Triple Arch 12wx3dx10cmh

Description

Ornament Triple Arch 12wx3dx10cmh — Slim three-arch ornament for small fish to swim through in compact tanks

Small schooling fish patrol the gaps in a layout, and an arch gives them a doorway to pass through. Ornament Triple Arch 12wx3dx10cmh (SKU: 37481) is an Aqua One ornament of three arches standing side by side, 12 cm wide, only 3 cm deep and 10 cm high, from the maker’s Exotics ornament range alongside the Pergola (37483), Stacked Stones (37482) and Santorini Village (37528). Its slim profile means it takes up almost no floor space, so it suits nano and small tanks as well as the midground of a larger aquarium. Aqua One lists it as easy to set up and maintain, non-toxic and aquarium safe, and long-lasting with minimal maintenance.

The maker rates it for coldwater and freshwater tropical aquariums. Placed across the middle of a tank, the openings frame the view through to the background and give small fish such as tetras, rasboras, guppies and shrimp something to swim through or graze along; in a small tank it can stand against the back glass as a ruin or garden feature. At only 3 cm deep it should be set into the substrate by a centimetre or so, or backed by a stone or plant, so a goldfish or a digging cichlid cannot push it over. For an exotic or garden theme it combines with other pieces in the range such as the Japanese Lantern (36940), the Stone Lantern (36939) or the Bamboo Gazebo (36720). Rinse it in warm water before it goes in, and clean it at water changes with a soft brush, using no soap or chemical cleaners, since residues are harmful to fish.
