A larger pond or a fountain with real height needs a pump that can move serious volume without a serious power draw to match, and that trade-off is exactly what Aquael’s Eco redesign targets. Aquael Pfn Eco 10,000 Pump (SKU: 102797) is the middle model in Aquael’s AquaJet PFN Eco range, a submersible pond and fountain pump that Aquael’s datasheet lists at a delivered flow of 9,000 L/h on 69 W, consuming up to 60% less power than earlier PFN pumps of similar output. As with the 8,000 model in the same line, the 10,000 in the name is the nominal class rating; the maker’s own published flow figure is 9,000 L/h, which is the number used here.

Maximum lift height is rated at 600 cm, enough for a tall cascade or a fountain display with real reach, and the pump measures 12 × 46.5 × 14.7 cm, the same body size as the 6,000 and 8,000 models, with a 10 m power cord and a threaded outlet accepting 3/4″, 1″ or 1 1/2″ fittings. It shares the range’s waterproof, low-maintenance synchronous motor and ceramic rotor shaft and bearing, and carries an IPX8 rating for continuous use in fresh or salt water. A mechanical prefilter on the intake reduces how often the rotor chamber needs cleaning, and a nozzle with a flow divider plus a fountain tip are included so the outflow can be shaped into a display spray as well as plain circulation.
