For a reef, the salt bucket is the single biggest source of calcium, magnesium and trace elements, so what goes into each water change matters as much as any additive. ASF Reef Crystals 10kg/300L (SKU: ASF-216029) is Aquarium Systems’ Reef Crystals, which the maker describes as the first enriched sea salt formulation made with reef aquariums in mind, in a 10 kg pack rated to make about 300 litres of saltwater. Its raw materials come from prehistoric salt mines in Lorraine, France.
