Aquael Rotor Unifilter 1000/1000u

Description

Aquael Rotor Unifilter 1000 / 1000 UV – Replacement magnetic impeller assembly for Aquael Unifilter 1000 and Unifilter 1000 UV internal aquarium filters

The Aquael Rotor Unifilter 1000/1000u (SKU: 124712) is an official factory replacement magnetic impeller assembly engineered for Aquael Unifilter 1000 and Unifilter 1000 UV internal aquarium filters. Constructed with a precision-balanced magnetic core and durable plastic blades, this replacement rotor maintains consistent, whisper-quiet water flow throughout your filtration system.

Over extended use, debris accumulation or physical wear on the impeller shaft can cause reduced flow rates, rattling motor noises, or complete impeller stops. Replacing the worn rotor restores full pump performance, ensuring efficient mechanical, biological, and UV filtration.

Usage & Application

When to Use

• Restoring Water Circulation: Recommended when filter output drops due to a worn magnetic core or damaged fan blades.

• Eliminating Filter Noise: Replaces worn impellers that cause rattling, buzzing, or vibration inside the motor head.

• Preventative Maintenance: Excellent replacement part to keep on hand to avoid unexpected filtration downtime.

How to Use

1. Unplug the Aquael Unifilter 1000/1000 UV filter from the electrical wall outlet.

2. Remove the filter housing from the aquarium and detach the motor head from the sponge canister.

3. Twist off the impeller cover plate located on the underside of the motor unit.

4. Carefully extract the old rotor assembly and clean out any trapped detritus inside the motor well.

5. Slide the new replacement rotor into the chamber, re-secure the cover plate, and reassemble the filter.
