Usage & Application

When to Use

• Source Water Checks: Test tap water or RO/DI water prior to water changes to prevent introducing hidden phosphates.

How to Use

1. Fill a clean test tube with 5 mL of aquarium water.

2. Add 6 drops of Phosphate Test Solution #1, cap the tube, and shake to mix.

3. Add 6 drops of Phosphate Test Solution #2, cap the tube, and shake vigorously for 5 seconds.

4. Wait 3 minutes for color development, then compare the liquid color against the included freshwater/saltwater color card under good lighting.
