The Seachem Alerts Combo Pack “6-Month” (SKU: 725033-12) combines two of Seachem’s innovative continuous-monitoring sensors—Ammonia Alert and pH Alert—into a single maintenance kit; its “Warning Bands” measure ammonia and pH in aquariums. Engineered for freshwater and marine aquariums, these colourimetric sensor cards remain submerged in the water column to provide constant, real-time visual readings without requiring test tubes, chemical reagents, or periodic liquid testing kits.

By using proprietary sensor technology, the Ammonia Alert sensor detects toxic free ammonia gas rather than harmless ionised ammonium, helping aquarists prevent unexpected livestock losses. Meanwhile, the pH Alert sensor continuously tracks shifts in pH between 5.4 and 8.6, changing colour dynamically as parameters fluctuate. Compact and unobtrusive, both sensors offer continuous monitoring for up to 6 months.

Maintenance of the Seachem Alert Combo™ 6 Month

If there is lichen, simply wipe it with a clean, soft material. Avoid touching the sensor with your fingers, as skin oil can damage the sensor. Do not use bleach, soap, detergent, or hard objects to clean the sensor. For maximum accuracy, readings should be taken under natural light or white light.
